Program tahunan pengawas sekolah dasar11/7/2022 ![]() ![]() Among them, the most apparent problems are as follows: the curriculum reform is not synchronized with the development of teaching materials, the pertinence of practical teaching is lacking, and the guidance provided for professional certificate examinations is not well-established. Under the influence of various factors, such as the lack of experience, there are also several problems in the reform and practice of the curriculum. Several vocational colleges have made attempts in the reform and practice of the curriculum, but the effect is not ideal. Based on this system, it is imperative to carry out the reform and practice of the core curriculum of Civil Engineering and Architecture. The “1+X” system has a great impact on the development of vocational education. As a result, the new teaching module was redesigned to provide English teaching and learning effectively and efficiently that could be easily understood and helpful for the student to achieve the learning outcomes as expected. This research applied Research and Development (R&D) model adopted from Borg and Gall comprising six stages, namely: (1) needs analysis, (2) designing the product, (3) proposing the product, (4) evaluating the product, (5) testing and (6) disseminating the product. The research objective was to develop new teaching modules for the Electrical Engineering Study Program that were much more interactive, effective, and efficient for the learners to study English within the Electrical Engineering context. Thus, the developed teaching materials were to propose the teaching and learning that fit the learner's needs. ![]() Developing the new teaching materials for the study program aimed to provide relevant issues and teaching strategies that could boost students' motivation in the classroom. The new curriculum adopted by the Electrical Engineering Study Program required the updated version since English courses had been replaced by the first and last semester of both the D3 and D4 programs. Teaching materials are required to adapt to the current situation of the institution, curriculum, and learners. ![]() These served as lessons from whcih the AKP, whose roots lie in the RP, would learn to circumvent such domestic obstacles and contest Republican Nationalism abroad. The proper teaching materials determine successful teaching-learning. It focuses on the experiences of the RP, which was pushed out of power by Turkey’s National Security Council and closed by the Constitutional Court during the February 28 process. The chapter then demonstrates how military, judicial, and educational institutions infused with Republican Nationalism functioned to crush the RP’s efforts. The chapter examines the attempts of the explicitly Islamist Welfare Party (RP) to spread Ottoman Islamism in Turkey’s public sphere and to shift the country’s foreign policy toward the Middle East. It conceptualizes institutions that are founded to protect principles related to identity, such as secularism, as institutional obstacles to challenges from supporters of competing identity proposals. This chapter analyzes the powerful function in practice of the institutions whose origin and nature are explored in the previous chapter. ![]()
